Sonja Ahlers lives in Vancouver. Her new book Fatal Distraction (2004) was published this past fall by Insomniac Press. This is the follow-up to Temper, Temper (1998); it took five years to make. She likes the movie Foxes & double-salted licorice.

Shary Boyle is a multimedia artist whose practice includes drawing, painting, sculpture and performance. She has been a Resident Artist at the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture in Dawson City Yukon, as well as Struts Artist Run Centre in Sackville, NB. Boyle's work has been published in magazines and books such as The Story of Jane Doe (Random House), The Walrus, The National Post, Maclean's, Saturday Night, J&L Books, Girls Who Bite Back (Sumach Press) and Scheherazade (Soft Skull Press). Her book Witness My Shame (2004) was released by Conundrum Press.

Mark Laliberte is a project-based hybrid media artist currently living in the Toronto area. He works in collage, sculpture, language, and computer-based sound composition. His latest “page works” have appeared in 3rd Bed, Broken Pencil, Descant, QSQ, subTerrain, Vallum, and Wegway.

His minor opus, A Penny Dreadful (2003) was released through Insomniac Press; a 38 page excerpt of that book, entitled Spaghetti Dreadful, is available for the curious as a .pdf file off the mighty Ubuweb.
His other titles include: p.mody's dada boutique (1997) Sun Kissed Oranges (co-authored with Sergio Forest,1995), & Rusted Childhood Memoirs (1994).
Chantal Rousseau is a multi-disciplinary artist who has exhibited in numerous galleries (such as Latitude 53, Mercer Union, and La Centrale). She will be participating in a group exhibition at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris in 2005, and is presently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Guelph.
She is the author/creator of the book project Clowns Just Want to Have Fun (2001).
Balint Zsako was born in Hungary in 1979. He immigrated to Canada in 1989 and received his B.A. in Fine Arts from Ryerson University. His photographic works are represented by Lee Ka-sing Gallery while his other work is represented by Spin Gallery (both located in Toronto).
